‘Bergman’ is a slow-growing (2" per year), multi-leader, dwarf shrub form that typically grows to only 18" tall but spreads to as much as 36" wide over the first 10 years. Twisted blue green needles. Red male pollen cones in spring are quite showy. The shape of this cultivar is apparently influenced by the species of growing stock to which it is grafted. 'Bergman' was introduced into commerce in 1965 at Raraflora Nursery in Feasterville, PA
