• Description

Most rhododendrons do not do well in the heat, but 'English Roseum' is heat tolerant, doing well in zones 5 through 9. English Roseum is "Southern Tough" and a very undemanding plant to grow. It has an erect habit, forms mounds of dense green leaves, matures at 6 to 10', covered with large showy flowers in mid-spring. Very effective as a drop-dead gorgeous hedge or as a transition plant on the edge of woodlands. Can be used as a single specimen also. A real showstopper however you use it! Leaves stay green through-out winter.
