Excelsa Arbrovitae
-

Description
This dense, fast-growing evergreen conifer boasts a tall, pyramidal habit, reaching heights of 30–50 feet with a mature width of 12–15 feet, making it ideal for privacy screens or windbreaks. Thriving in Zones 5–8, it prefers full sun to part shade and well-drained, moist soils but can tolerate various soil conditions. Renowned for its rich green foliage that maintains its color year-round, it displays no notable fall color change. Its aromatic sprays of scale-like leaves are soft to the touch and highly resistant to deer browsing. Although it does not have prominent flowers, it occasionally produces small reddish-brown cones that add subtle texture to its overall appearance.
