Description
‘Kurui jishi' is a unique Japanese maple with curled foliage, similar to that of 'Okushimo'. 'Kurui jishi', however is much smaller and denser, reaching 6-8 ft in height and width in 15 years. Fall color can range from golden yellow to a brilliant orange. The name 'Kurui jishi' translates as confused or crazy lion.
