'Maigold' is a cultivar of Colorado spruce, with an upright pyramidal shape and bright yellow new growth contrasting  with the mature, gray-blue-green needles. It prefers sunlight or partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. At 10 years, it reaches a height of 7 ft and spreads to 4 ft wide.
