• Description

‘Sekka yatsubusa’ has a very different appearance as the leaves are bunched up along the stems.  The geen leaves have red edges. As the tree gets older it develops flattened stems with congested growth, adding to it's unique look.   Fall foliage is bright red. One of the more adaptable Japanese maples, it is happy in conditions ranging from heavy shade to full sun (in cooler climates). Mature size is 10 ft.
