Sharp's Pygmy
-
Description
'Sharp's Pygmy' (Palmatum Group) is a dense, dwarf form that is typically seen in the landscape growing only 2-4' tall, though some experts claim it will over time grow to as much as 10' tall. It is one of the shortest Japanese maples. Small palmate leaves are green in spring and summer, but change to orange-red in fall. Each leaf has 5 deeply divided toothed lobes.
