A dwarf, shrub form of Japanese maple with a spreading habit. Small green leaves have a purple edge in spring and summer. Fall color is yellow to orange. Prefers full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil. 4' wide x 2' tall in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.
