Description
Yucca filamentosa,is technically a virtually stemless broadleaf evergreen shrub that is native to beaches of the south coast, and has extended its range into New England. The sword shaped leaves are deer proof with 5-8 ft white flower stalks in summer. It is a useful addition to dry areas and is very tolerant of salt runoff.
